Kearney's HR Solutions Privacy Policy

Your data is as important to us as your business — here’s exactly how we protect it. This policy explains how we collect, use, share, and safeguard personal data in line with the GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Plain enough? It should be.

Security first, always. Encryption at rest and in transit. Annual privacy training. Clear controls. Why settle for less?

1. Who We Are

Kearney's HR Solutions is the data controller for the personal data we handle through our HR consulting, talent acquisition, payroll processing, and employee relations services. Our office is at Hospital Road, Dublin, and our team works with Irish employers and candidates every day. Who do you contact when something needs attention? Start with our Data Protection Officer at [email protected].

We’re registered with the Data Protection Commission under ref. DPC‑IE‑00345. That reference is fictional for this build, but the obligation behind it is very real.

2. What Data We Collect

  • Business contact details

Names, roles, phone numbers, and email addresses from clients, suppliers, and prospective partners.

  • Candidate and employee records

CVs, employment history, payroll information, and documents needed to support recruitment or workplace administration.

  • Website usage data

Anonymised analytics that help us understand site performance without building personal profiles.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to deliver services, meet legal and regulatory obligations, and, where you’ve agreed, keep you informed about relevant HR updates. That’s the short version. The legal basis under GDPR depends on the context: contract, legal obligation, legitimate interest, or consent.

For payroll, employee relations, and talent acquisition, accuracy matters. We process only what we need, keep access tightly controlled, and avoid unnecessary copies. Would a lighter approach be easier? Maybe. Would it be compliant? Not always.

17 Years of combined HR handling discipline across service workflows, audits, and client support.
100% Staff complete annual privacy training, so data handling stays current and accountable.

4. Your Rights & How to Exercise Them

You can ask to access, correct, erase, restrict, or move your personal data. You can also object to certain processing. That’s your right, not a favour.

  1. Send us a clear request

Email [email protected] with enough detail for us to identify you and understand the data involved.

  2. We verify and log it

We’ll confirm your identity where needed, record the request, and check whether any legal exemptions apply.

  3. We respond within 30 days

Most requests are handled inside the standard response window. If a case is complex, we’ll explain the delay and keep you updated.
